TSM said they were Aberdeen when I placed the order. I don't have any previous experience with the last but sized up 1/2 from Barrie LWB which are 11 A/C and they seem to have a similar overall fit.

Definitely glad I ordered without thinking about it......just pull the trigger when given the opportunity.

I was expecting them to be darker / more reddish color but the lighter shade will work very well with my typical work attire.

I will be starting the Mac break-in method ASAP!

Thanks, guess I have to wait until Sat to find out. Hoping for barrie

Looks like it's a #8 captoe boot day. Here are mine from Alden of DC with commando sole and all their creasing on an overcast day in San Francisco...

Very nice, Don L.

Also, I'm guessing they're Aberdeen too. The email from TSM indicates that the Ravello NSTs are on Aberdeen and the Whiskey ones are Barrie. It's a shame as I'd love a pair of the Ravello, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work size-wise. It's an interesting thought that these may be NOS. The color certainly looks like it.

I have no knowledge of these beautiful watches pictured and poster here, and I'd like to keep it that way... God help me if I ever do!

These ravello seconds from TSM beg the question... What retailer(s) did the first quality shoes go to???????
I actually asked Ed at TSM that exact question almost verbatum, and didnt get a real answer...
He basically said "There weren't that many..."
I also wondered if they were new old stock (seconds).

My God, you guys have seriously brought it today with the King LWBs, the absoluely gorgeous ravello NST, king cap toe boots, etc... there is some serious game possessed by this thread, esp when you throw in the watch collections!

Today I went with what has become one of my favorite go-to casual shoes, Snuff LWBs + J Crew argyles. (However, I am itching to wear some shell this weekend... this thread is inspiring!)

I'm curious if someone could look at the numbers above the model number. What's the first digit? I'm not even convinced they're from this year.
The coding on the inside is as follows:

0F0 / 023 8

22141

Bootmaker Edition is written on the heel cup
