1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That was my initial reaction as well, but upon some reflection, I think I would still take the new ravello over the new cigar and lighter whiskey. Of course it doesn't compare to the old ravello, but what can we do right?

Got an order placed for Ravello Boots today. Excited to pick these up. I too am curious whether or not they'll be the new ravello that looked closer to old cigar.

I know of only two styles of whiskey high boots sold:

Whiskey Indy (Alden NYC, Alden DC)
    Whiskey Tanker (Leffot, Tassels)

Has anyone else seen others? I've never seen whiskey wingtip boots, plain toe boots, etc. I know there was a one-off MTO whiskey captoe boot done some time ago, but that wasn't a full run. Seems like there have even been more styles of color 4 boots done (wingtip, captoe, Indy, etc)

Whoa. I wasn't on the original pre-order but emailed Alden NY a couple days ago. Just got an email from them and secured the ravello WT boot. Second shell pair, following a cigar LWB from Alden SF which I got 2 years ago.

Pseudo PSA. I'm returning the last 11.5D Gamble's Hill Indy Boot to Need Supply as I just didn't love them. Should be available soon. =) They're a relatively good price at $445.

Hopefully all the recent availability of shell means the LeatherSoul Color 8 Pitt Boot will be confirmed for production. I can't wait for those and actually prefer it over several rare models in ravello and cigar.

I wonder if we could ever convince a retailer to do a run. Maybe there's a chance now that Ravello is becoming less scarce? Maybe TSM?

Nice. I don't often see plaintoe ravello boots. When/where did you pick these up? Do they look like "old cigar" or "old ravello" in natural light?

Dunno, but that is my next Alden whenever it happens. EG until then.

I was just going to say that. I don't think I've ever seen a Ravello plain toe boot. Cool.

Haven't posted a pair in a while but cigar LWB today: [IMG] I think I should be done with my shell collection in 12 to 18 months. LWB in whiskey, cigar, ravello, and #8; #8 WTB, ravello Day Trippers, cigar straight tip boots (on order), and whiskey Indy (on order).
