1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I guess I'm not terribly concerned since according to everyone else, the address checks out, and two, what's an imposter going to be able to do with a check written out to Alden of Carmel?

Did he take your information like your address and phone number? Or does he take that later when the shoes are ready?

He just asked for name and contact email to be included with size and color for the time being.

That is his correct mailing address. I can find a box from him and take a picture if you wish.

I do appreciate the concern though, if I hadn't purchased several shoes from him in the past I would be more worried myself.

What's with the money order? I've only ever been instructed to use the order form on his website and pay via credit/debit.

Pretty sure they are barrie. They haven't had the Leydon version in a while. Almost bought these a couple of months ago. I went with TSM's because I preferred the mid-tan antique version. Anyone know what alden calls this welt in the Epaulet version of the Natty Chrmxl LWB? Is it "natural"?

I think your best bet is to get on Leffot's mailing list and not hesitate more than a few minutes when the next pre-order is launched.

Or follow this thread carefully, there's probably going to be a PSA from someone if another store will have tanker/NST boots made.

    Yea...those things are a staple!

I dig the rolled look there, too. I usually hem my denim with no break and they can look a little short if I cuff them. I just bought a new pair so I may tailor them cuffed with no break. Worse comes to worse I can always shorten them. Then I'll have one raw pair with cuff and one without. Options!
