1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I hereby declare a shell bubble. Time to sell rare makeups. Market values are officially in excess of intrinsic values.

Besides, the only people who can distinguish between shades are my SF "friends," none of whom I'm ever likely to meet; ergo, no one will ever realize I'm wearing 4/ravello/whiskey/cigar.

So who is getting in on the Navals tomorrow??

I would love a shell PCT, but I've spent too much this year already.

I am going to be in the midst of a 600 mile road trip, so it looks like I will be unable to access the internet. I really don't need those boots anyway - even though they're really nice. Plus, I would like to get a pair of longwings in #8.

They are beautiful but too close to my Bayfeilds from Ryden for me to jump on them

They look pretty awesome. I'm a little tired of double leather soles currently. It continues to pour and pour rain to the point I'm not wearing many of my "nice" shoes anymore. If they were dainite or something I'd probably be more likely to go for them. As it is, I might have to wait it out.

Not only have I spent too much already, but these are too close to my J.Crew #8 PCTs. However, I really prefer the antique edge to the black on the J.Crew's so I'd be really tempted if they had a 270-welt. I'm passing.

Might be time to sell my #4 Atoms, at least.

I'll be trying to score a pair. Would help consolidate my collection.

Going to a shop now to confirm Barrie sizing with my new insert.

While the price is insane, it is still not as high as the pair of Ravello Hunting Boots (for Tassels) that sold last summer. I think those were around $3,200.

I cannot wait until #4 comes back from Alden and/or people start listing new #4 boots online in droves.
