The shell in the Ralph Lauren Marlow line is Horween, and it is drier than Alden shell as well

Mac is doing well. He actually let me know he has 8.5C widths he will be parting with soon, so if that's your size, be ready....

Depending on the last, I think I could fit into a 8.5c....

I feel very lucky and blessed to have another pair of shell. Again, the J Gilbert Plaza makeup of the NST, on Commando. Received these back in July, but waited today for the maiden voyage.
    Thanks Yenni !

(First two with some natural light streaming in through the window. Last one without.)

Fall starting and took my indy boots out over the weekend. Took a look at the soles and see that stitching is missing or worn away in a few spots on both boots. Is this the time to get the whole sole redone? I ask because the heel definitely needs to be change sometime this fall and seems silly to put a new heel on if i'm going to have to get the whole sole replaced too. (also want to get a commando sole put on by moulded at some point)

    thanks for the education...

    On which shoe?

In my opinion antique looks better on all shoes, unless it's a formal dress shoe.
