Absolutely gorgeous boots! I hope to find a pair in a sz 14 eventually. That and a pair of suede chukkas, which I believe may not be made in a 14 unfortunately.

My Carmina shells are quite a bit drier than my Horween sourced shells. Don't know if that is due to the shell itself or if Carmina does something to it in its finishing process.

Great looking Roy boots CEE88. It wouldn't hurt to actually wear your new Indy's in "the field" so to speak sometimes. It's been my experience that shell cordovan cleans up easier after exposure to bad weather and mud than my calfskin footwear.

I think they are sourced from Horween, but the shoe itself is made in Spain. Epaulet's website does say Horween shell cordovan.

My order from Unionmade arrived late last week. I've spent some time deciding if I want to keep them or not, a pair named Alder by Alden for Unionmade. I was looking at their Hanover in walnut, but was out of my size on the website. Thoughts?

I think they look great. Pairs extremely well with the denim there.

The mid-brown walnut would probably pair nicely with denim as well.
Tough to go wrong if you don't yet have a boot in those shades.
