1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Grant seems to be a tweener last so I really appreciate everyone's input.

Grant is not perfect for me. I am giving it another shot with these Cigar boots. For me TTS fits better on Plaza than Grant, I find Grant slightly long

I erred on the side of too big instead of too small. If they do not work I will put them in the market place and pick up the color #8 nst.

you go 8.5? 8 would not work for you. I tried to squeeze into the 8 during the last run since 8.5 was sold out and my foot felt like it was in a sausage casing made of shell cordovan

I have traditionally sized grant TTS. For giggles, I called Alden DC to see if they had the cigar captoes in 9.5E so I could try my Barrie size in those boots (none were made).

Yup 8.5 d, they had an 8d in stock 2 to 3 years when I called to order them. Kathy advised me the 8 likely wouldn't work for me as such she said she would put me on the 8.5 list. I totally forgot all about it until I got the email yesterday. I broke out in exuberant laughter. So awesome, I guess it is one advantage to Alden's lead times.

Very smart. Again, I wear a 10.5D in the Plaza / Aberdeen, but had to go 11D in the Grant as the 10.5D really rubbed against my toes. At worst, I would put in a thin Tacco Woody insert and I suspect you will be fine.

Has anyone ever put together a list of all Alden models? Or at least the most popular makeups?
