Sigh - the Shoe Mart. Ordered a pair of Aldens from their factory seconds list this morning. Was told they were in stock.

Just received an 'order canceled' email. No other explanation.

Phoned, was told the seconds list was an error...

In the city known for it's hills on the West Coast, and RiceARoni, a rumor has it it a rare breed of PTB in a color called Ravello has arrived. Seek the treasure or hold thy foul comments!

    See Ya,
    Steve

Just received these from Need Supply:

The slimmer welt makes a big difference. They are not as clunky as 'normal' Indy boots.
How about I go ahead and wear them in good health?

Thanks. They are very smooth and shiny although them not being shell, I don't expect them to remain that way once they wear in.

Excellent DonL! I think I prefer the cigar LHS over any other, contrary to what most say about whiskey or ravello here. Wear often in great health!

Fine lookin' boots Wildstar, and an even better story! Enjoy those boots and your daughter. They grow up faster than you will realize...

Black Shell LWBs today gents. I've said before, these classic gunboats are a bit underrated.

very nice. I wish alden would do this more; with the welt stitched closer to the shoe and excess outsole trimmed away. this indy almost looks like it was made by an english shoemaker in a british tan
