There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Many gents ignore stock models to their own detriment. The 974 is a wonderful workhorse business shoe. And the color 8 tassel is iconic. Nicely done.

I found Ravello boots hard to work with as a color. Rather orange-y. Maybe I should have stockpiled them until prices hit $10,000/pair.

I think I said this a few pages back but those Indys came up on Yahoo Auctions about 2 months ago and sold for over 2200 dollars.

I guess Im also in the minority here but nothing about #4 or #2 impresses me. They are red shoes? Just not my thing. Now cigar or whiskey thats a whole nother ball game.

There's something about the reddish tones in #4. Put simply, Cigars are Brown shoes, #4 and Ravello are red shoes, and whiskeys are yellow ones.

Leffot just dropped boots combining three things a lot of thread goers don't care for - black cordovan, brass eyelets and crepe sole. I like the look but likely won't buy...

    Same here. Also, without a 10.5E, it's a no-go anyway.

Nice boots but two out of three is not quite enough for me.

I have nothing against black cordovan, but I can't imagine them flying off the shelves...:dozingoff:

Just wait. Irrational exuberance reigns supreme when it comes to shell cordovan. However, they would be gone already if they were in Ravello, whiskey, or #4.

10-15? Total? Well holy shit. I guess I'll go for a cigar pair. Is there a good place in NYC to get fitted to see what my size is in each last?

Agree re: Ravello, Whiskey, Cigar, etc. but that current offering is a tough combo for many on this forum and elsewhere.

    But to each his own.

Lot of wisdom here it seems. I suppose there's a reason my eyes fell in love with them right away Thanks for the info guys. This game seems fun.

Alden NYC would be the obvious choice. You may also try Leffot and Epaulet but I guess most their make-ups will be on the Barrie last.

    Hey all,

I have a pair of Cigar NST's that are too tight. They are 10 B/D, I'm wondering how to figure out what last they are on? If I am going to size up, I'll need to not make the same mistake. I'm usually a 10.5 D, but obviously these aren't Barrie.

I am guessing they are Aberdeen (they are from TSM and thats what the current models are), but I am looking for better than a guess.

Awesome shoe, I've just come to the conclusion that they are a bit too snug for comfort.

Do you have a picture? My understanding was that the Cigars were on Barrie though. Ravello is Aberdeen.

Here they are next to a new pair of Barrie 10.5 B/D. Makes them look like my wife's shoes!
