"It's still warm here in the southwest but I'm looking forward to imminent cooler temperatures and the transition from the summer suede into the fall cordovan. I've been wearing mostly the suede chukka, the suede Dover, and calf v-tips. The #8, Cigar, and Ravello have been gathering dust on the shelves since May."

I heard that dust ruins shell, so I'll do you a solid and take them off your hands. Perhaps a size 9.5 or a 10?

Anyone have pics of the 'earth chamois' in the wild?

I'm considering these Style #: 40605HC but I've never seen the earth chamois in person (or any of the alden chamois for that matter...).

Is the chamois somewhat rugged? I tried on a pair of tobacco suede boots at Leffot this weekend and I was shocked by how soft they were, like wearing a pair of slippers almost. While they were very comfy and would definitely like to get a pair in the future, right now I'm looking for a more substantial boot with a suede or roughout leather.

    Any help would be appreciated.

To calf for a minute... New veg tan Indy today. Definetly a little dressier Indy. Compared to my CXL the entire toe box is a little more snug adding to the sleeker look. Hard to tell, but next to the CXL the toe box isn't as high (and it's not just the sole difference).

Citishoes has a bunch of cigar options listed on its site. No idea what sizes are available, though.
