No problem, Ryden. I would buy them if they were available, but I'm not going to kill myself looking for them. I am in boot mode at the moment ;0)

I just had an awesome experience shopping for some Alden's in Houston...

Johnny Mykoff at Norton Ditto knows his Alden's and has been in the business for 30+ years. He even noticed my shell PTBs as I walked in the store.

If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend stopping by. They even stock Saphir polish!

They didn't have what I was looking for - NAVY CXL PTB but it was a pleasure shopping nonetheless.

I thought I'd let everyone know in case business or life brings you to Houston.

Does anyone have a pair of the Unionmade Hanover boots in walnut calf? I can't seem to find any pictures of them out in the wild, and would love to get a better idea of their color.

Ha ha ha...no way! You have enough!

They did have the LHS Cape Cod Horsebits in Black, Tan, and Black Suede for $225 I believe.

Alden SF had a navy CXl PTB when I was in a few months back. Have you given them a call?

I believe someone posted a pic of those a little while ago. Not much help, but I do remember.

They don't have my size. I saw them in person when I was at that very store in May. That was...of course...back when I thought spending $500+ on a shoe was NUTS!

oh...to go back to those days :)

I have been there as well. Both of their "shoe gentlemen" are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately for them Vincent Ford, a haberdashery across town (5-10 minutes away) sells their Aldens cheaper and they usually come direct from the factory within three days. I bought a pair of color 8 LWBs from VF for $600. ND wanted $665. I know it's not that big a difference but I'm still on a budget. Both B&M stores are great.

TheShoeMart has some navy PTB in stock. I'm not sure of your size, tho.
