After cleaning and polishing several shoes, and after some recent buying/selling activity, I figured I'd throw up my current family picture, organized by style (longwings, NST, plain toe, balmorals, loafers, longwings, casual boots):

Here is a focus on the NSTs with my latest addition, the Context black tanker:

Focus on the shell PTBs with a just shined cigar chukka and Color 8 PTBs off of ebay

I was able to sell some duplicate and casual styles I wasn't wearing and reinvest into more black and color 8, which I am wearing a lot more of in recent months. Color 8, cigar and black are what I wear the most these days... I would consider a whiskey PTB/longwing in my size, or a ravello boot in my size, but that's about it for those colors.

Things I am missing are a "formal" longwing (black or color 8 w dark sole), sleeker lasted dress boot on leather sole, and a wingtip boot... Suede longwing could be useful as well... Most worn models include the cigar chukka and LHS, color 8 tanker and wingtip, black PTB... Least worn models are both whiskeys and the tan PTBs.

Wow, nice collection. Any chance I can get a closer shot or additional information on the saddles? I assume they are shell but it's difficult to tell from the picture.

I just got my first pair of Alden's, sand suede unlined chukka. My question is whether or not you guys would advise using a protector spray on them? I have the Allen Edmonds spray, but I'm not sure how I feel about it, as it made my snuff suede carmina's chocolate colored.

I have used some suede protector spray called Terrago that is superb: protects the suede against wetness superbly, and does not affect the suede in any way I can discern.

I do not know about the Allen Edmonds spray, so cannot opine about that.

The End in the UK is apparently a new Alden retailer. They appear to have a few new/exclusive makeups, including a color 8 medallion captoe blucher (similar to the Epaulet Alt Wein) on a dark sole and the Aberdeen last, a "Burgundy Calfskin" Indy boot and a Kudu ranger moc. Pricing is steep.

Great. Thanks (I think). I hate visiting their site. There is no retailer that has more styles that challenge my discipline more than Leffot. I know taste is subjective but I always find between 3 and 4 styles on their site that I absolutely 'must have'. Again, very impressive collection you have there.

Cross post from the Epaulet thread. Here are Epaulet's Alden Taunton Calfskin Boots, which were featured in street styles in GQ.

Easy peezy sneezy, Marcoliani merino wool. Go to www.customshirt1.com. Uncle Mac likes it when you post your well shined Aldens wearing his trademark "argyles otc".
