on the subject of lined vs unlined, or BB vs non BB, anyone notice a difference in fit between pairs in the same size?

    for example:

Unlined vs Lined PTB (non BB) - Unlined fits 1/2 smaller imo

Unlined BB LHS vs Lined non BB LHS - unlined BB fits about about 1/2 smaller than lined (non BB)

    Good Morning Gentlemen!

I have a question on something that's been driving me nuts.

First off, I've been wearing a Superfeet 3/4 insoles in my 9901s. I'm basically doing this because it makes them fit better, plus I have flat feet.

Anyways, the lovely insole has been digging into that leather heel insert that Alden puts in their shoes. It also puts some wear on the inside wall of my heel. I might be the only weirdo on here who actually puts leather conditioner on his heel area because it gets abused.

Do any of you fellas use an insole that doesn't do this?

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

To me the unlined PTB fits snugger, but not enough to size up 1/2. I feel the same way about Barrie boots vs Barrie shoes.

Quote:For the PTB's, the BB uses the M58 last, IIRC, which is much more snug than Barrie IME.

Not a bad idea. I have access to a 3D printer...just not the scanner!
