Well stated shawnc. I wholeheartedly agree with your opinion on the 990's.

I have had this happen as well when wearing white loafer socks, particularly w/ my cigar LWBs. Interesting...

I got a garment steamer (albiet not commercial) for $60 a few years ago on amazon, and have saved hundreds if not thousands on dry cleaning since. Between that and my trouser press (also amazon), I don't get my suits dry cleaned unless there is a stain or something. The chemicals that dry cleaners usually use degrade the fibers of the fabric and wear out your clothes faster anyway, so yet another advantage. I buy the non-iron dress shirts and hang them on a hanger when they are still warm from the dryer, and maybe steam them a bit after that, although it is not always necessary.

merely a suggestion for the taking.

Sir, to my knowledge non-iron shirts, your standard BB as an example, are treated with a chemical that makes them more wrinkle resistant. To me non-iron shirts feel less breathable, and thus less comfortable. Guilty as charged of being overly finicky and persnickety.

^All of this sounds reasonable to me.

Thanks...I'll certainly check them out. I can already feel the urge to rationalize away my per diem on a purchase.
