1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The black Indy is probably more versatile than the navy one. The brown CXL is more versatile than both.

8.5 D Barrie last from Tassels via Utah buddy from Hong Kong - I like the scratches to my knowledge they are not a knock off. No listing for them exist on Tassels website but my guess is they are from the Alden anniversary run a couple years back

So did you take actual steps in them and crease 'em? Or did you slide step onto the grass and *gasp* - grass stain the soles! :D

    Pics or it didn't happen!

Nice chukkas. Are those Ravello or #8 with a rich patina?

Normally I'd say "it's just a shoe", but in this case they're quite pricey shoes. You should be the one to blemish them.

Leffot used to offer one last year. Not sure if they have any stock left.

Leffot's version had a red brick sole. That is not a picture of Leffot's version. Leffot has no more of this boot left nor does it have any plans to reorder. In fact, since issuing this boot, Leffot has issued a blue suede Indy shoe with the red brick sole. I believe Leffot still has in stock some sizes of the shoe.

thank you. It does look great as does the Leffot boot with the red brick sole.

For what it is worth, Yenni of J Gilbert thinks the blue CXL Indy she is ordering is one of her best looking offerings for this year.

Np. Sorry I missed your first request. Its a Reverse Chamois. I love them its just too expensive to bring in shoes from Hong Kong. I wouldnt mind seeing the make up that J Gilbert is going to order (trubalance with double waterloc). I have the list of styles that are yet to be confirmed from JGilbert as well. They are bringing in a couple interesting Indy styles probably later this year early next. Including the classic color 8 on Plaza. Ive never tried on the Plaza Last though so it worries me.

Interesting you ask that. Color 4 is on the box label. The finest difference between color 4 and many recent Ravello colors is that color 4 always has black piping (trim). I have seen Ravello with that red tint which looks the way I think color 4 looks. That said in this pic they do look a shade off from #8 with patina.
