I personally love the Barrie. It fits my foot well and think a variety of makeups looks very good on it. I like some of the "sleeker" lasts as well but for my style (which is a bit more casual than others) it works very well.

Whatever reason some retailers almost seem to have exclusive rights to particular lasts. Leffot (barrie), JGilbert (plaza), moulded shoe (modified). I think LS really does the best job of varying the lasts on their make ups.

whelp just received the suede roys, but i'm not sure i'm sold on them. might be going back. honestly can't decide.

after wearing nothing but the plaza last and barrie in a c width, these seem outlandishly blobby at first glance. i wanted a casual boot though, so i have to get a second opinion from the s.o. (let's be honest here - her first statement is going to be "what? more brown boots?")

Nice boots! And I agree with you - it's whatever you are wearing that day. In my mind there's room in the closet for LWB, PTB, NST Boot, suede, plain toe boot, cigar shell, #8, waterlock, CREPE, etc. ... Depends on my mood, what's going on that day, weather conditions, time of year, etc. Variety is the spice of life.

Awesome ensemble, RTP! That's the way to end the work week! Really like the eyelets on your suede - gives it a little extra punch.

Sorry to ask this again, but do most go TTS on the barrie tanker NST?

If they fit well, I would keep them. I think that they are very attractive. I would consider them for myself, however, I require a C width in Barrie.
    Nicely done!

Some do, some don't. I go with my normal Barrie size (9.5E) in the tanker, but some feel they have to go TTS or go up one with from their standard Barrie size. I would say if you have (or can try on) a pair of longwings, and that Barrie size feels snug on you, you may want to size up from that in any Barrie boot.

LOVE IT RTP! Where did you acquire your PTBs? I've been looking at the BB PTB (similar to yours?) and the cap toe.

Wow thanks, but just J Crew.
Much thanks my friend! I very much like eyelets on casual shoes. Wish I had pulled the trigger on the J Crew Ravello LWB with the eyelets.
    Thank you very much Uncle.
    Much thanks my friend!

    Happy weekend everyone...
