1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

halfnhalfnhalf, I've purchased shoes new from retailers that have had similar creases... But TSM does seem to have a pretty strict no crease return policy. I'm not sure if they will take them back. That said, you could recoup almost all of the cost via eBay/Styleforum if necessary...

@halfnhalfnhalf I don't think TSM will take them for return. You are better off selling them here/eBay. Shouldn't have too much of a problem selling them. Good luck!

Looks great! What size did you end up going with? 9D?

I have a high instep, and my Barrie size is 8.5D or 8E depending on the shoe.

Hmm, I see. I had to sell my 8.5D cigar Atoms from Leffot on Tremont since I was not too happy about the fit. I asked Kathy about 9D but none was available.

Some may find this a parochial viewpoint, but those are used shoes. Period. Shoe Mart may take them back for client relations. I think it inappropriate to ask.

You can certainly find a buyer here, albeit at whatever discount a buyer which should not be significant given the very limited wear they have seen.

I agree. The fact that a few months have passed is also telling. TSM has no doubt marked their books to reflect a "final sale".

Sweet Wingtips. Looks like the first two are the Brooks Bros and then you switched it up on the last one going with the Wingtip boot!

    Thanks, all.

These are 10 D on the Grant last.

FWIW, TSM has a 90-day return window, and these are within that window.

MTC, great post. Giving me something to think about for sure. I got a guy on each shoulder whispering into my ear, one on the left saying, leave them, the other saying, strip off that finish. If the finish didn't have a dingy weird gray-washed out appearance and have brush lines I would probably listen more to the guy on my left. :-/ On travel for two weeks, so I have some time to contemplate.

Yes, but I don't think they can sell those as new. I wouldn't be happy if I bought them from TSM and that's how they looked when I opened the box.
