BK - you must be delirious this morning. Please have some coffee and come back and reconsider.

    On another unrelated note...
I have been tempted by the dude selling the Color 4 one piece shell belt in the marketplace, but since I don't have the right pair of Aldens to go with it, I have hesitated.
    (34")
What good is the matching Color 4 belt without the boots or shoes to go with it...

I am a 8.5 in wolverine 1k Courtland and also wear a 8.5 in Alden Barrie and Trubalance lasts. If you can get to a store to try on the Aldens that the best option to dial in the right size for the shoe in the last you want

    good luck

I think Alden should consider adding this to their stock list. This is a great casual loafer that they should make widely available

My shoe and clothing purchasing days are over for a while. I even returned my JCrew 975's. Getting a new house and it seems we're going a bit above what I budgeted for so need to save every penny for the down payment.

Yes, and a natural one as well!

Although if I wanted a CXL handsewn loafer, there are a ton of options among the Maine companies for a much lower price.

Yes, but they are not quite the same. I created a very similar version to the CXL LHS from Rancourt. It is very nice but there are subtle differences with the Alden that make it worth the additional money to me
