If only, when I had the chance, I had hit up Alden of Carmel more than I did for special styles, like the NST monks.

^ someone posted that here last week and the code is still valid, I can't believe it's been working for so long and they haven't disabled it for Alden. I keep looking at the perf captoe #8 boots, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I highly recommend the J Crew Perf CT boots... a wonderful make-up my friend!

they're on the Barrie, however many people have claimed they run narrower than other similar Barrie boots, which I hope is true because a D width on the Barrie is usually too wide for me anyway.

Such is the case with me too (Barrie D width is a little widish)... The PCT boots fit perfectly for me! Get on it my friend!

Gentlemen, is there a preference amongst the faithful for either the Alden for Epaulet Innsbrook Indy or the TSM Alden #8 Bootmaker Indy, both with commando soles, Innsbrook has speed hooks and the TSM has eyelets? Chromexcel vs shell.

So many of the Natural Indy Chromexcels are sold out from The Shoe Mart. I don't want a commando sole either. There is a wide (E) in a size that might work for me. How can I exactly can I tell if my foot is wide (E) or medium (D)?

Bummed out, after the 11.5D ravello tassels didn't fit I returned them and had the 11Es sent. I am indeed a true 11D, and the 11Es go back tomorrow. So for thoise of you interested, Pelle Line will soon have a pair of ravello tassels back in stock, may even still have the 11.5Ds.
