1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Thank you, everyone, for the helpful advice. I appreciate it, as always. And the good people at Epaulet were kind enough to allow a return for refund, so I'm taking that route. The Alden x Leffot model looks similar, so I may try my luck with their stock. Or I may try the ShoeMart model for a less playful look (no natural welt, no white stitching). Who knows?

    My Best,
    Christopher

FWIW, I pulled out my pair and noticed a similar "twist" of the front sole and welting compared to the broguing. It hasn't bothered me in the least re: fit or feel.

But to each their own. It's definitely not as pronounced as that.

Glad you got it resolved. I knew Epaulet would take care of you. Good luck on your next aquisition! Hopefully you'll be posting pics just to show them off.

MrDV stole all my thunder here, but here are my black NST. The Aberdeen NST one of Alden's sleeker looking models. Color 8 may be a necessity

[IMG] you got me. too impulsive to not purchase. I had some horrible AE single monks in black that these will replace, plus I got my money back from Moulded Shoe so it was almost a wash [IMG]

No, bought directly from LS last spring.

Same here. I purchased the chamois captoe boots from Shoe Mart yesterday after seeing someone post them in here earlier in the week. Strangely enough, ShoeMart has since removed them from their site. I figured the Kudu chukkas didn't work out for me so I need something with a lug sole that I don't have to worry about babying.

Shoe pics for the last few days. Ok, they're basically full pics which I took for a different thread but there are shoes in there. JCrew Indys yesterday and #8 CT boots today.
