1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

If they where the 10.5 D boot I got the last pair from TSM and they are on the way back. They should arrive Tuesday. I didn't care for the shade of Ravello on the NST boot they where much lighter than the pair of Chukkas I purchased from TSM earlier this year.

Yes, I already have more than will fit in my shoe rack, which I didn't think could happen. Running out of space. Some people have kids and move to the suburbs - others have Alden's, I guess.

Nice! What last are they on and how do you find they are fitting?

These cigar NST slip on loafers are on the Aberdeen last and fit true to size for me. I prefer an E width but D works fine for me just a little slugger.

    See Ya,

No hampton yet. The aberdeen is almost perfect in my usual size, but I'd like to try just a little extra toe box room. I've had good luck with the AE 5 last, and these two seem the closest to it.

Very tough choices here. Generally if you have a choice between whiskey, cigar and ravello in the same shoe, cigar and ravello are preferred due to versatility... If you like Aberdeen I would say get the ravello in order to get a diversity of lasts. I personally prefer the shape of the Barrie in NST and would go with whiskey or cigar if I were picking.

Not sure if this is the answer to your question, but whenever I upload an iPhone photo it is sized as 200x400. I manually change that to 500x1000, which makes for a bigger photo of course.

    So I change this

    http://www.styleforum.net/content/type/61/id/123466/width/200/height/400

    to this

    http://www.styleforum.net/content/type/61/id/123466/width/500/height/1000

But I assume the image resolution is constrained by the phone camera whatever SF does to compress uploads.

While I have the NST in Aberdeen, I think it looks richer, fuller and more balanced on a Barrie last... Barrie would be my pic, then again, we all have our own preferences... Happy hunting!
