No, they are from Epaulet and on the Leydon last. I purchased them a few years ago. These are the most comfortable Alden shoes I own.

Hmmm... Would anyone happen to know if I could expect any stretching from the unlined suede chukkas. After trying them on last night and this morning they seem very snug in both length and width. Seems like I may have to have gone (at the very least) up a width size.

They seem to set a cookie for your location if you've purchased from them before so they knew to show prices without VAT.
Anyway, the text "Price Ex 20% VAT" or "Price Inc 20% VAT" is pretty explicit as to what's being shown.

Breaking in my newest purchase, a very lightly used pair of Context Tankers. Big day for breaking in, got my pair of Gustin jeans yesterday so will be breaking them in as well.

Congrats - tankers are one of Alden's best models IMO

I'm not sure what you are referring to? The stitching is too close to the edge of the welt? The edge dressing is blotchy? Hardly noticeable, especially while wearing. Pretty good considering the types of flaws that others experience with new pairs.

Remember, they are hand-made in a union factory. A little bit of inconsistency is to be expected.

(not saying that I'm anti-union, but it is hard to deny that union workers get away with a little bit more given their collective bargaining power.)
