    Awesome group picture.
You have 3 pairs of ravello lwb. I get it. The sick thing is, most of us here get it.

Clearly the NST boot is the odd one out, he needs to get rid of that. I'd be happy to assist in that endeavor.

So here's a question inspired by mtc2000's three ravello LWBs: if you had to choose one style of Aldens to wear every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? You would have, say, 3 identical pairs that you would rotate.

For me, I think this would be #8 PTB.

Either a cigar or color 8 shortwing blucher (funny given I don't own the color 8 shortwing blucher and I've never seen a cigar version)

I assume you mean a standard SWB instead of Atom (Leffot had cigar Atoms recently).

    Tough one. #8PTB or #8gunboat

I think the #8 gunboat wins by a hair.

No, I changed my mind. #8 PTB wins.

color 8 NST, although it would really have to be black cord NST, color 8 cord NST and ravello NST boot.

The three pair of identical shoes reminds me of an acquaintance I once knew who long ago returned to Europe. He was accomplished, very particular, precise, and a hip, downtown (East Village)-NYC type whose wardrobe consisted of seven black fine wool suits, seven white dress shirts, black dress socks and seven pair of black plain toe bluchers. This was before I was Aldenized so I do not know the make of the shoes, but I am sure they were cordovan - they had the tell-tale cordovan glassy shine (all of the shoes were gleaming at all times) and they were heavy, big-ass bluchers. His summer wear was the same except he did have black short pants for the weekends that he wore with either the white dress shirts or a white t-shirt and his bluchers without socks. The suits and shirts were all identical to one another and were tailor-made and of the highest quality. He replaced all of them once each year. When I got to know him, I asked him why about his wardrobe. He said he wanted to look great, but put as little effort as possible into doing so.
