If that spot is enough to make you return them, you need to quit buying Alden shells altogether. And I am not being sarcastic. You will have to return every pair you buy.

yes, I know what you mean.
thanks for the info. I don't think I had heard anyone use "copped" before reading it here.
thanks, this will be my first piece from them. good to know you have had good experiences with their products.
I'm glad you decided to keep them, the shoes look amazing.
awesome, straight out of a batman film.
thanks for the info zippyh. I honestly thought it was a combination of letters from some phrase, or a movie reference.

Mr DV: I had the pull tabs removed on the #4 Captoes. Actually called Alden to ask if they would do it, and they kindly obliged.

I'm not a big fan of pull tabs.

tsekh: That spot is meant to mark the spot where you look down and contemplate the fact that you paid HOW MUCH for shoes?

    Just kidding...gorgeous whiskeys. Enjoy!

With all the whiskey talk we thought we would put up our remaining whiskey stock. We have some sizes left and most are small. We have free shipping still available and if you are ordering to the states no import taxes as it is an American product. Please pm me if you have a questions about sizes.

So I'm an 11 C in barrie shoes and an 11 D in barrie high boots (Leffot tankers, JCrew PCTs that I tried on), which I find to run narrow/small. I've tried on the 2 eyelet barrie chukka in 11 D, and found them to be too big (like barrie shoes), to the point that I wondered if they were 11.5 Ds incorrectly marked 11 D. I'd think the 6 eyelet chukka would fit the same as the 2 eyelet version, but can anyone chime in?
