    thanks for the heads up about the leffot #8 on antique. just grabbed a pair, along with the tarrago suede protector..

    now to decide what to do with these jcrew captoes

    Nicely done Alcibiades! Excellent collection and fine new pick-up. I like the absence of speed-hooks and the antique edge! NYC guys definitely have a nice advantage over the rest of us... [​IMG]. Thanks for the posting!

    Agreed the antique looks great. The only thing I prefer on the J Crew is the closed heel

    Didn't you make a series of similar posts here a few months ago? (I apologize if I am mistaking you for someone else.)

    Either way, not sure that those types of posts are welcome here, however, I can only speak for myself.

    Edit: If someone here has a pair that they were interested in selling, they would likely post them in B&S or on eBay, so why not just look there?

    seeing these #8 with natural edging today has me thinking about trying to convert some modified last PTBs that I have around here..

    does anyone know if B.Nelson can do that with the modified last? I'll contact them next, figured I'd ask here..

    B. Nelson changed out a pair of Modified perforated cap toes for me and they came out awesome.
