    There is usually fine print that excludes cordovan, special order, ect.

    Quite like yourself I have made my living with my hands (10 yrs aircraft mech 30 yrs steamfitter / welder) while maintaining an interest in clothing styles . I look forward to to posts on your project perhaps encourage me to do one on some bicycles ive built . Something is bothering me tho. while I feei I have a pretty through knowledge of such thing I cant quite figure out what your avatar is . I think a hydraulic actuator or motor cycle part of some sort interesting

    So, if there's a Ravello LWB in my size, I should buy it, right? Even if I already have a tan-ish CXL LWB? And even if I'd prefer some kind of Ravello boot if I had the option?

    I feel like this boot trumps all. Better than the day tripper and the #4 cap toe imo. I need some Plaza in my life

    You are exactly right. My avatar is a shot of a hydrauic cylinder/ linear actuator; I'm a hydraulics technician.

    Guys-legislative update from Capitol Hill. Last night, the Lujan-Grisshom amendment was defeated in the farm bill debate. The amendment was to defund inspection of horse meat plants, effectively ending slaughter of horses and this no domestic shell. Anyway, I don't know what will happen in the next few months, but for now, it probably would be helpful to call and get your representatives stance on horse slaughter, as a disruption in the supply of horse meat supply chain will inevitably cause a further shortage in shell! Just my two cents from DC.
