1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Seven,

I am not sure if you have tried already, but I just picked up a pair of Whiskey LHSes from Citi Shoes in New York. Give them a call. (E-mail never seems to work too well with them). Have a good one!

That whiskey / cigar pre-order seems tempting.... but I would really LOVE a whiskey or cigar wingtip boot pre-order!!!

Will these ever be made again?!?

Cordovan generally doesn't give that much. If it's tight now, it probably won't get much looser, if at all.

Ok, it's not like nobody has ever seen these before, but I just got these and I love them. I lucked out, as they are basically flawless, except for a very slightly bent speed hook that I easily bent back. The fit is excellent. I had my eye on these for years but somehow kept passing them over because they were "popular" and not as hard to get. Stupid. These will see a lot of wear.

Not to take away from a good rant, but...
    Tom Ford shoes aren't bad.
Some Prada models are made in what I assume is the same English factory that spits out Church's and are decent quality.
Thom Browne shoes are made by Tricker's.
The Ferragamo Tremazza line isn't bad either.
Yeah, the prices are pretty crazy but you were at the store where people go when they think Neiman Marcus just isn't expensive enough.

You know of course that on some POS shoe forum there are probably people ranting about the insane prices of Aldens.

Gotcha. I am excited about mine. Just a completely random pick up. Hope to say the same a few years down the road.
