1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Intolerance is everywhere. No reason to expect this site to be immune.

I was curious about them. Wondering how they compare to AE's McNeil... about the same price range. The rounded toe looks barrie-like but the description says tts. I don't care for the McNeil's last.

I thought the same thing. It may actually be a chemical produced by its production. For you golfers out there, the original Berilium Copper Ping Putters were eliminated for this reason.

I am curious who the private label is from....
Could it be AE from their DR facility?
    Price fits...

    A little offbeat...

Any Beckman owners in here? I'm curious about the sizing on these. My 8.5D Trubalance (9D Brannock) is a perfect fit for reference.

I nearly purchased the Beckman Chukka boots with commando sole a couple of years ago. They run tts; do not size down to your barrie size. Your foot will be in great pain if you do. I can't speak with any confidence about the other Beckman boots and sizing. They seem to be very well-constructed. You should be able to find great prices on line.

I have a pair of the beckman gentleman travelers in 10d, which is my Barrie size. For me 10d in beckman is perfect- just roomy enough for a pair of thicker wool socks when necessary.

You could compare Redwings to alden's just as appropriately (I argue even more appropriately) in the Redwing thread as you could in the Alden thread. I'm sure many participants in that thread are also familiar with the Indy boot and its sizing. That way, we don't end up with a Redwing conversation in the the Alden thread.

Not saying that I'm bent out of shape over his questions, just thought it was turning into a conversation that was more appropriate for that venue.
