1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Thank you, I very much enjoy slight color variations. I think that it gives them more "character". But, it is not nearly as pronounced in real life as they are in those photos.

Agreed, especially on LWB's, and to a lessor degree, LHS's. It was this variation on tifolsi's whiskey LWB's that put me on the hunt for a pair. Fortunately mine have the same variation.

Unrelated, I like cigar but it is usually no more special than any other color for my tastes. However, your LWB's are amazing. Perfect in every regard.

They are from Leather Soul. I picked them up from a member here.

Size 10 D on the Leydon last seems to fit me best. Would a 10 1/2 C on the grant last be a comparable translation?

    thank you!

Probably 9.5D or maybe 10E would work better. Leydon is a relatively narrow last.

Completely normal from what I've seen. For some reason they can't/don't get the stitching as far inboard on the composite soles as they do on leather, and it doesn't tend to be a consistent distance from the edge.

Extremely impressive group. Are the Dalton's commando? I've got the same boot and had the commando topy put on and I love the look.

I think you are going to find slim pickins with full eyelets as a criteria.
