1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    nephew,
try this-take a slightly damp smooth cloth and rub the crease for one to two minutes

Thanks, Mac. I did that last night and brushed. It does go away, but returns when I wear them. If it is normal as it seems to be, then I am OK with it.

I attribute that roughness to the shell itself ... as if the skin was not perfectly shaved at the tannery. Two of my 4 cordovan footwear have that fine stubbly feel to it ... brushing and conditioning can knock down the "stubble" but it eventually returns.

    Sazon,

You are obviously an impeccably dressed man. Perfect crease in the slacks, even the laces all lie perfectly flat. And oh yeah, your Numbah Fowah's ain't bad either.

There is one twisted lace in there.....LMAO. I attempted to keep all my boot laces flat, but I gave up!

I note at least one twist in there as well. And of course, the left-over-right lacing pattern would never pass a Marine Corps inspection...

I'm not sure if this is still the case but it was maybe a year ago? Been on the fence with one of the AC last pair models but have avoided going in to resist temptation

I have 4 of them and they only shed when they are new. After all the loose bristles fall out, the rest stay in there for the long haul.

Thank you all for the kind words. This is my first foray into both Alpine grain and waterloc. So far, I am very pleased. I also like the retro look of the stitching on the sole. Again, much thanks.

I noticed this earlier and enjoyed seeing the pictures. But every size was out of stock, so I didn't get too excited about it.
