1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Make sure you don't announce it here until you leave the shop or they will be gone before you get there!!

FWIW, Leffot just got in their first preorder shipment of the Color 8 LWB with antique edge over the weekend.
This was from the July preorder.
We may be able to see some in the wild shortly...

    Keep or Return?

Okay, decision time... Keep them or not. The scratch does stand out in the sun, as seen below. It also goes further than I thought. When I put it in the sun, I noticed that it turns right and keeps going... One other thought is that they are 10D, which on Barrie, works for me, but 10.5B is actually the best for me, and Kathy will gladly add me to her next run (whenever it is). Quick thoughts! Am I being too picky? I have plenty of time to wait for another run and am relatively patient. :)

    Thanks,
    Mike

If they are defected (in your eyes) and they are not the optimum size then I would return them.

Personally, I could probably live with it but if it is going to bother you everytime you look down, send them back and get on the list for the next run.

Yep. I'm waiting for my shipment confirmation and tracking. I have LWB in Cigar and Ravello, both on regular double leather sole, but for some reason I just couldn't warm up to the stock #8 LWB as it always looked too dressy to me. But the double water lock sole with the antique edging put that shoe just where I want it. I also really like how Leffot predicted November delivery, and here they are!

Yep! Got my tracking on Saturday. They only have to come down about 2 hours! I'll be ready for them tomorrow.
