I visited shoemart around 1:30 am in the morning and it had crazy sale prices for some Alden shoes. Shell shoes were discounted by up to 32%, flex welt chukkas were under $300, but the site stopped working, I went to check it out a few minutes ago and all sale items were gone. Has anyone seen that?

Happened to me before too. I actually did put an order in and they just cancelled it the next morning.

I was expecting a little more enthusiasm for the Leather Soul pre-orders. [IMG]

Even though it will be a few months I will be stoked to get cordovan saddle shoes.

I think I am going to hold off until Tom brings some new heat even though the NST boots in brown are mighty tempting.

With three of the pre-order styles in hand already this mix is a cross between a letdown and a relief for me.

The cordovan saddles are definately [IMG], but I predict the cognac Plaza wingtip will be a runaway hit.

It depends on a lot of things like if you have or plan on getting a pair of #8 longwings, what you are going to wear them with and your budget.

To help this is a picture of the Cognac longwing:

Man, that will be a killer if that comes out soon.

You are supposed to be on the bandwagon with the buyers, not on the sidelines! [IMG]

Thanks guys for the support. It's hard for me to put new models on Preorder since I myself don't even know how they'll turn out. This week we have a Ranger Shoe and a couple navy suede models coming out. The next one to cause a stir should be the Plaza Indy Boots. [IMG]

    Just bought these from Leffot:
    http://blog.leffot.com/wp-content/up.../DSC_00062.JPG

Ive always wanted a pair but never thought they were worth 430 for whats essentially about as plain a leather shoe as one can get. But for 300 I was game

I picked up the last pair in 10D for $297.50 plus shipping. A little too big for my tastes. If anyone is interested, please PM Me.

    This is closeish: http://www.leathergoodsconnection.com/brlebe.html

Honestly though, your belt doesn't have to perfectly match your shoes. Brown with brown is more than close enough.

I have the Leather Goods Connection bridle leather belt in light brown with side stitching and a brass buckle. It's nearly a perfect match for the 405
