I am going to agree with everything said about. The Trickers would be my preference as well, especially with the natural welt. They are "beefy" looking even in comparison to a Barrie last but I think it gives them a nice rugged look. I own a pair of Trickers cordovan chukkas, a pair of coffee stow boots and have another cordovan boot on order. I really like both the look and fit of their stuff.

Thank you! Yes sir, 3Sixteen 17oz bad boys!

Thank you my friend. 3Sixteen selvedge it is ! If I could, selvedge denim and #8 boots would be my daily uniform.

Thank you Tif...you inspired me to finally jump on these!

Nice! Are they the ST or SL? I have the SL100's and really love them but sometimes I wish I had gone with the ST. The SL's fit me better in the top block and the ST's fit better from the knee down...

Working in startups has plenty of challenges, but one advantage is that this can be (and usually is) my daily uniform

These are SLs. They are small enough as is in the leg opening, for my likes. I can't imagine going any more narrow.

Thanks for your support, Bakes. I've felt a lot better since the fessing up.

I'm in my late 30s. We married as young 'uns recently out of undergrad. Time flies!

True indeed. The disclosure brought us closer together. I also decided that my son deserved a more mature model for how a man handles himself.

Considering suicide would mean having to worry about the collection ending up in some random Goodwill. I guess I could bequeath the collection to some of our fellow 8.5D Barrie / 9D TTS addicts.

Told her about the mahogany roadmaster and accompanying quilted vest too. Now she's on the hunt for a nice jacket herself :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, 7ftg!

Thanks, zippyh! Time to save the money for the EGs. Maybe I should liquidate my AEs to pay for one double monk.
