i heard mr. porter has a full size run for alden longwing bluchers on #4 for only their founders for the founders sale.

This loafer needs more publicity on this thread... My black version has become one of my most worn pairs of shoes.

LOL... Yes, it's a sleeper for now... But it is also my favorite dress loafer (I have it in black shell too)... I like the Grant Last on this particular shoe and its very rich looking... I've also seen a split toe variation, but I prefer this one (obviously) as it has a nice clean look especially not being full strap either... "Something different"... Thanks!

I wear a 9D in Trubalance and Barrie and a 9.5 on the grant and leyden. What size would I wear in the Aberdeen? I'm looking at the blue suede tassels that TactileOne just posted. I would like to wear them without socks. Will the 9.5 work for me?

Aberdeen is TTS for most, so I you're TTS size is 9.5 you should be good... What widt do you wear? Aberdeen runs slightly narrow... Although the suede should flex and give...

I'd consider foxing with those Natty Tassels if they were D's Instead of E's.

I'm still trying to figure out where those Tan Suede Tassels that were posted yesterday are sold , if anyone can clue me in.

Edit: Looking at another one of Mic's listings for the BB LHS. It says that it is on the Copley, not the Van. Is that true?

How about the Allen Edmonds #5 last? Would you know how the Aberdeen last compares with the AE Park Avenue?

In the same size, the aberdeen is shorter over all, slightly narrower, and the heel-to-ball of foot measurement is shorter. It's almost like a 1/2 size difference in overall length.

-1  You may not get the same noticeable patina as other sell colors, but they are clearly a different look than black calf, especially over time.  Black shell and its patina still rock!
