    Congrats on a sweet makeup!

I guess those guys just dont want my business as I have bought like 5 pairs of shoes from them and can barely ever get an email returned, let alone any advanced notification.

I have the same shoe on order with J Gilbert and it was confirmed last week for the same timing; I guess Alden will be busy building this model for a bit.

    +1

I didn't think they Leydon would work as they are a bit narrow for my feet. However because they are unlined and suede, they just fit wonderfully. I haven't found that they stretched much at all bee the last few years.

Did you go with the 8.5d? I have an 8.5 in a ptb and the slippage is a little more than I'd like.

interesting.. I always thought they leaned more to the whiskey shade, but I'm curious why they wouldn't ever update the pics to show actual representation (as they appear to have a single size still in stock)

    off to find out...

Anyone know if the TSM seconds email is due out soon? I asked to be added to the list and want to be sure I am on the automatic distribution.

    thanks

shaunw, never seen anything like that. Very unique looking saddle shoe. They'd look great with golf spikes.

I don't know if I'm seeing things or if I'm just crazy, but it seems to me that the Alden LWB is just a giant freaking shoe. Here is the water lock sole of a LWB (on the left) compared to a RL Marlow. Same size shoes. No wonder they call them gunboats. [IMG] It's longer too. [IMG]
