For people who are fans of the Rough Roy boot, TSM has a new style. Earth Chamois cap toe boot with commando sole on the Barrie last. It is the reverse chamois oiled leather in the dark brown almost black color.

    yup I got them new.
size 9 barrie Jcrew cap toe boots.

    I wear 8.5 barrie LWB.

so it might be that it's slightly too long?
I've only worn them out twice so it could use a bit more breaking in.
the left boot definitely has more creases than the right. The right foot only has 1 crease.

Are you sure you don't want an 11D #8 990? They're pretty roomy built on that Barrie last you love so much. PM me. I got you. :)

Seems like a lot of people posting for sales in the thread lately. I had thought that was frowned upon and supposed to stay in the classifieds, no?

I'm interested in getting a pair of Indys and was wondering if chromexcel is more prone to creasing than calf. Can anyone chime in on this? Oddly I've three different pairs of the Wolverine 1000 Mile boot and each one has a different degree of creasing to them (they're all CXL), from really bad to non existent. I'm not really sure what determines the extent of creasing.

Just so that it's not spreading around more, I am firm believer that oxfords are not necessarily equal to balmorals. Balmorals are a specific type of oxford.

Didn't know that. I've done it once or twice myself but won't do it again. Thanks for the heads up
