1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Suede Indys have really grown on me. The Indy is such a versatile design. IMO it looks great in its original form, with various shades of CXL, in calf, in shell and leather sole, and in suede. Who did this make-up?

I picked it up from Alden NYC the Madison store. I think last week, Unionmade posted the same or nearly identical shoe. I agree, all the variations of Indy look great.

Good to know. Does this pair fit similarly to your other shoes? In my experience, the Aberdeen sometimes gets a little wonky.

+1. doesn't look like Aberdeen, but we could certainly be wrong. Fine looking pair of bluchers. Not sure why Kathy would think short wing bluchers wouldn't do well??

Nolan Ryan might be the baddest Texan ever. I can still remember when he beat the crap out of a much younger Robin Ventura about 20 years ago...

In Aberdeen boots I take 9.5D. In Aberdeen laced shoes I take 9.5D (usually) and 9D (sometimes). The shoes in question are 9.5D, and they fit me like my other Aberdeens in 9.5D. The Aberdeen fits my foot well, and I have numerous models - mostly shell - on it.

For frame of reference, I take Barrie in 9D.

My sense is that short wings don't do that well locally (DC area), and because she has no way of actively reaching out to the masses about what make-ups might be available, she could be stuck with a bunch of shoes. But she's still always asking me for new ideas....
