Man those boots are gorgeous in that 2nd/bottom photo. Shoemart's site isn't working for me (per usual). Can someone ID those or point to where you can buy those? Is that just how that #8 cordovan fades to give it that look of lighter to darker? Thanks from an Alden noob.

Try here.

#8 often fades unevenly and gives you that great variation in color.

I'm trying to figure out exactly which boot that is. It's not the shoe mart or the Alden of Carmel one.

Ahh. Finally found something. Looks like those wingtip boots will be new for upcoming 2011 collection: "Alden reveals a new series of footwear designs for Spring/Summer 2011 as next year’s previews begin to unwind. Featured within the batch of upcoming releases are staple Alden picks, including desert boots and premium brogue shoes/boots. Stay tuned for a closer look in the coming months." http://hypebeast.com/2010/06/alden-2...ummer-preview/

Here is a photo from AAAC I really liked - #8 BB PTB and cigar shell chukka with a alden #8 belt:

color of the belt looks very close to #8 after it's been around for a few years.
