Alden for J. Crew Longwing Bluchers, item# 18580. I wear progressive lenses now, so without my glasses I use echo location.

I'd go with the snuff suede (darker) LWB over the camel (lighter) LWB as I do not care much for crepe soles. (Both available presently.) Their calf LWB offerings (tobacco, dark brown, and black) all have double leather soles and are solid choices but overpriced imo ($525). You can find these occasionally on ebay brand new for much less.

    Speaking of LWBs..
This is my whole (modest) Alden family, consisting predominantly of LWBs [IMG] I just love this style.
I dress almost exclusively casually, the cigar LWB w/ dark welt being at the "dressiest" level I may occasionally want to take myself to [IMG]
I think it's been about a year now since I first heard of Alden.

    Great looking collection.

Looks like you've got a good deal of diversity within the Alden brand.

Despite what the J Crew description says, they're not CXL.

HAHA - Jeez, just saw them. The picture's pretty awful so it came up as pretty much burgundy and I assumed it was shell. Do you know if this is the same shade as brown they use on the Indy's?

Thanks - I'm going to take a better look at the snuff - I think the color is more versatile but the single leather sole is a little unfortunate, as I am a fan of the hardier soles :)
