A cigar WT boot on the plaza sounds incredible, though.

Agreed. As I said before, I think I've only seen Uncle Mac post pictures of these.

I saw that picture too, and the first thought I had was "wow, impressive collection... too bad the owner doesn't take proper care of them." Most of them don't have shoe trees and are showing the results of it. One would think that anyone who can afford 72 pairs of cordovan Aldens can also afford to take proper care of them.

When one can afford to buy that many, the term proper care becomes incredibly subjective.

Snuff suede unlike chukkas just arrived from NRO. Is it just me, or is the color a bit off? Seems awfully .. Well, brown. I seem to recall them being more orange-ish.

Also, they're rather tight. I wear an 8 Barrie, so I went 8.5 for Leydon. How much will the suede stretch and loosen with wear?

I can't answer you on the stretching, but my last two snuff purchases have been about that color.

Nice you got your order from NRO? no sign from them yet except for an email saying my order shipped, but they did not provide tracking number.

When did you order? Did they provide you a tracking number? I don't owe any suede aldens, but I really am considering now that I see them. I kinda like the brown color.
