    You may want to try rubbing with a slightly damp cloth and then lots of brushing.

    I REALLY wanted those when they came out, but my size didn't last very long... VERY limited edition. Looks fabulous MrDV!

    My Tremont experience is about as small as I can get in the toebox w/o sizing up (but still very comfortable). The shape is more U-shaped than the barry, but not as much so as the Leydon (which I commented on a few pages back). FWIW, I've also felt it to be a "flatter" sole, as in not offering as much arch support as others. I have a Tremont Balmoral, so the lacing is different, but my foot is very snug inside. Not overly tight by any means, just well wrapped.

    Wow, these are awesome! It's a combination of two of my shoes. :) Color #8 really pairs nicely with the snuff suede.

    ^^ I have never worn the Tremont. I am a solid 9 in the Aberdeen and the Barrie is too big. I just purchased a 9 in the Tremont - Argentino give me your thoughts, please.

    They are nice. Do I need a 4th Indy? I told myself to wait for a cordovan wingtip but scotchgrain is too sexy.

    I had suspected the same thing. That the finish on new shoes continues to "set" when exposed to air. Just sort of a theory though.

    I would love to see a photo of your collection if you are so obliged. I have begun to infer that it might be quite extensive.

    Came back to town to find my pair of natural chromexcel longwing bluchers from Leffot on my desk. The shoes are nice, but they seem a bit long. Incidentally, these are my first pair of Aldens as well as my first longwings, so I have no brand reference. Is this the intended fit / look? Feeling clownish.

    I did size down a .5 size for the barrie last (7D from 7.5D), as recommended. The heel fits fine and the toe box is comfortable. It's just the shoe is about a full inch longer than where my toe ends.

    These are awesome! As someone who doesn't always think that the creases in shell are a positive (sometimes, just not always) I think this is the best way to do a saddle. The luster of shell on the non-creasing part, and suede or calf on the rest.
