Absolutely. Regular trees work very well in my experience. I have them in a pair of natty cxl Indys and while I can't say what they'd look like without them, they look great after many wears with them.

You should pull the trigger - or they will be gone, possibly not to return for a long time. At least get them to try them on.

The overwhelming majority on here go TTS minus 1/2 size for their Barrie size. Me TTS9.5D = Barrie9D (and I have numerous shoes/boots on the Barrie).

My chukkas are not loose, and I have no slippage.

Yes - there is no reason why you should not.

Took a chance on a pair of snuff suede LHS from TSM....the reason the are 2nds is obviously the line on the right show which appears to have a different grain from the rest of the shoe.....any idea if this will work itself out over time? Also, any thoughts as to whether the are across the strap will loosen slighty with wear? Thanks!

Agreed I was actually surprised at how well they fit. I suppose it really depends on ones foot and I still would like to find a six eyelet but that has as much to do with aesthetics as anything else.

Thank you good sir, I just did. Was surprised to see they were still available to be honest, I expected them to be gone every time I went back. Fingers crossed.

9015 post method and Leather Defender

How often should I reapply the Leather Defender? Obviously it depends on frequency of wearing, but should I use it every time I implement the method? Or is that excessive?

The Hampton is a very good looking last. It's seems perfect for a Balmoral such as this. Enjoy.

Thanks Frank. I agree. I prefer it to the very pointy, elongated, chiseled, trapezoidal lasts that are popular lately for dress shoes. That's what I like about the Hampton, rounder-toe. For me its a little wider in the forefoot than the aberdeen, which could be my best fitting last.

Not to toot my own horn, but they are ALMOST as shiny as Uncle Mac's.
Could be that they are still quite new, but after the method this afternoon they look better than when I received them.

No, I don't polish after every wear at all - but I'll brush each shoe for 3-5 minutes when taking them off for the day. Yes, I always tree them - boots too.
These look spectacular. Great shape, great color. Enjoy wearing!
