I have the 11.5 B/D Barrie and 12 B/D Leydon. While I don't have any heel slippage in the Barrie, the Leydon really locks you in, cupping the heel more effectively. The toebox is a bit more narrow, moreso a U-shape as opposed to the C-shape of the Barrie. I think the instep is a bit more raised as well - a bit better for a foot with arch. I think it's my favorite last up to now.

I can't do two pairs as the store won't take the other back. I should really try to find time to try on some LWBs.

At first I did the same size JCrew PCT as my indy boots but they were just too tight across the widest part of my foot. I stepped up a half size and it was good.

I keep hearing that the Barrie LWB are a little roomier/wider than Barrie lasted boots. If that's the case I'm tempted to just go with my Indy size.

I want to ask this question as well.
I didn't receive any email after that.

Try using the shoe bags that came with the shoes for storage. That might help alleviate the problem in the future. I'm not sure. It's just a guess.

The horsehide took to the dye differently in that spot, and it turned out darker.
