Very nice. Which ones are those? Is it silly of me to order the Leffot Naval boot (black perf toe) when I have both the #8 and Cigar Grant Captoes from Alden of DC? Something about a simple dress boot does it for me and I can get away with them at work on the Friday.

i'm not too anal or concerned. Like I said my CXL Indy boots have creased nicely, but thsi oen just seemed a bit more, especially since the right shoe has little to no creasing/wrinkles. C'est la vie

Fantastic boots. Looks like you can keep a great mirror shine on them, too.

I hope not [IMG] Anybody have any idea whats up with the dark spot on the right shoe here? ~One month old, worn 5-7 times, haven't touched them except for brushing after wearing.

Thanks very much to all with the compliments!

Similar to others who have mentioned this in previous posts, I'm finding that boots shaped over Barrie last fit much better than LWBs in the same size (LWBs feel a bit loose).

What's it that you want to know that has not been covered? I think this is discussed on virtually every page of this thread. Most people size down a half size from TTS for the Trubalance and Barrie. I seem to be in the small minority that runs an 8 TTS and also an 8 in Trubalance and Barrie. There is no way I could size down in the Barrie but I would like to try on an 7.5 Trubalance to feel the fit

There is a great Alden last chart that can be found with a basic google search. It lists all the lasts and their corresponding fits I believe the website that published it is called red clay. I'm positive someone around here has a link?

Very nice, I was amazed at the fit considering it's only a two eyelet chukka. Ravello tends to have some variance with it, mine are more brown and lack the redness I've seem in other pictures. I started the break in method about five minutes after I opened the box. Then I received an email regarding a couple of other specialty cordovans. I couldn't find anything for six months now I find four pairs in a month and a half. The shoe mart version is a Barrie last with leather soul?

Results will vary. Personally I add a 1/2 size from Barrie to arrive at my proper Grant fit. I learned this the hard way when I ordered the Day Tripper which is on the Grant in the same size as my Barrie. End result is an extended wait for the next batch of Day Trippers to show up at Leffot...
