1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It was a damn shame the Footjoy Factory had to close down; yet another great American shoemaker forced to close down/move abroad.

Best golf shoe ever... Foot Joy Dry Premiere Classics - white plain toe pebble grain, Goodyear Welt, brown welt and edge, leather sole. (+ my favorite blade. Titleist 712 MB)

Sorry for straying from the thread, but I had to show these very difficult to find classics (pun intended).

Outstanding LHS, Uncle. Out of curiosity, have they darkened significantly since you acquired them? Very stylish summertime look!

Very envious of your boot collection, especially the grail Ravello and #4. Enjoy!

I'm hoping for some input. Going on holiday which is going to involve a lot of walking and standing on my feet. I mostly wear boots but am thinking I need some comfortable walking shoes. does anyone have the all-weather walkers with the crepe sole? Or the welterweight walkers with the rubber sole? I know they're not very sexy but I'm looking for function over form in this case. I don't want to wear anything that looks like bowling shoes.

I'm also considering the Epaulet trainers that they just put up. Not crazy about any of the colors except the navy. The cognac and grey look a little too much like old men shoes. No offense intended to those who may like them. Just me.

I guess I could just wear my AE Long Branch boots but I'm not sure if they'd hold up well for all-day walking, etc.

I was brushing my Aldens and wasn't paying attention and I hit the shoe with the wooden part of the brush leaving a nice scuff. TWICE!!

how can I get out the scuffs?
