    They look great. Are they on the Leydon of Barrie last? Wondering whether I should pick up a pair of these myself.

    How is barrie pronounced? "bear-ee" or "bar-ee". I've always pronounced it the first way, but i'm curious if that is the correct way.

    The Dalton looks very nice. My J. Crew cap toe boots shined up tremendously well. they developed a mirror toe quite easily, but I eventually toned it down considerably to make them more versatile. Mirror toe looked great with business attire but not so great with casual attire.

    AE's made such a significant change to their burgundy shell. I assume that's why they had such a big sale on all burgundy shell shoes early this year. I much prefer the "new" burgundy color (as shown in your Dalton) but the "old" color doesn't exactly look badly. I ended up buying the burgundy shell Leeds/PTB and Macneil longwing at a steep discount early in the year.

    Nice boots! You are perfectly suited for fall, winter and spring :)
