    Quick suggestions!

Trying to decide between the two below both in #8

    NST (Aberdeen) or LWB.....

    Thanks.

I'm not a big fan of NSTs on the Aberdeen, so I choose LWB.

Those sure look like Marlows to me - the toe medallion gives it away.

Mac, great shoes. If they are new, enjoy them. If they are old, well I need to apply more elbow grease to mine... :)

I like the Aberdeen NST myself. If you care for it, then #8 NST is going to be a little more unusual. Have you seen it in person?

#8 LWB is an indisputable classic, so you really can't go wrong there.

The welting is different on these two as well, which has an impact on the appearance.

PSA for any New Yorkers - Ina Men's consignment on Prince Street has a pair of what I think were cigar shell captoe bluchers in very good shape for $250. Size 9.5 C/E - must have been Barrie last as they were quite large on me and I'm a 9D Barrie.

The NST on the Aberdeen will present itself much narrower in appearance than the LWB, both at the toe, and throughout the entire shoe.

Either would work, as long as the one you chose is the one you like the most and it meets your needs.

Personally I would always chose the LWB first.

Got my first pair of Aldens, some beautiful Whiskey Indy's from Alden NY. Incredible boots, to say the least. Two days in and they already feel like butter. I fear this could be the beginning of an addiction..
