    Uhmm... According to this the Grant is larger than the Hampton. Are you sure with this advice?

    I have Aldens on almost every last they make. That chart is of questionable usefulness, e.g., the Leydon Last (5th from the left) is perhaps the smallest last they make.

    ^ I was the one who created that chart, and while it was just meant to be a generalization, I can tell you from personal experience that my advice should hold true. However, the Grant can be a tweener depending on your feet.

    Well, I can't argue with that!!! The Hampton definitely isn't too snug, so I will go with my normal size.

    Hampton, Grant and Tremont are difficult to size without trying on yourself. I need to size up in all three lasts from Barrie (which is like the Alden reference last); others do not

    The chart is a good reference tool, particularly for a new Alden fan. And, even if it doesn't always hold true for me, kudos to REguy for constructing it. :nodding:

    Yeah black lwb looks like initial creasing is set as well...
