1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Man, those are great. I wish those were available a few weeks ago before I bought my Kudu's.

I am returning the ravello longwings with brass eyelets to J Crew... I like the Alden SF version (no eyelets, dark sole) a lot more... I have the chukkas for casual wear.

I don't own a ravello LWB, but I prefer the Alden SF version from the pics I've seen. No offense to owners of the JCrew version -- that version is still quite nice.

I like ravello with a dark welt in general.

I'm glad you got them. I think you'll like the Leydon last. And, of course, I'm a big fan of natty CXL.

Anybody score those gorgeous whiskey PTBs in 10D from shoe mart last month and change their mind? I'm your man....

I got the J crew crepe sole LWB in the mail yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that the welt is black, not brown like shown in the photos. Now I just need to figure out if the D width is good for me or not. I have a PTB in 9.5E with a slightly loose right heel, and a 9.5D LWB thats slightly snug across the left vamp. Can't decide which is better... I honestly think either will work, I just don't want to find out in two weeks that the D is too narrow.

Tight is bad. Slightly snug will probably be OK. It really depends on your comfort level. Best of luck, and you made a nice score with the LWBs.
