    I wish I could help bro. I am not sure. I get a little heel slippage on some of my Aldens and have read that it should go away but I would contact the retailer ASAP and explain your situation.

    Regarding the shell issue. I was told that the Rusky's are liking horse rugs/floor coverings. Believe it or not. Apparently there is huge demand for this. No accounting for taste. I'm curious if anyone else has heard about this. I had trouble swallowing it, but it came from the local Alden shop, not the shoe shine guy!

    assuming that the rugs are made from horsehide, why would that affect the availability of cordovan (which isn't horsehide)?

    TSM had some white suede tassels on their seconds list. Not in my size, though. I'd assume they're gone by now. I think they were 8.5D on the Aberdeen last...?

    haha I am getting in all the foie gras before SF bans the sale of it on July 1st.

    Got some #8 LWB in the mail today. I don't need them but got them anyways :embar:

    Regretting it now though as I coulda used the money on the Mr. Porter sale for a few things...well I guess you can't go wrong with shoes you'll wear for the next 10 years

    yup, cigar + antique edge trim just kills.

    someone posted some cigar PTB's a few days ago with antique trim. :drool:

    horses aren't kept in completely restrictive boxes with only their heads popping out for the purposes of consumption.

    i know this isn't the place to pursue this any further, and i won't, beyond suggesting that you google pictures of foie gras production.
    i say this without any sense of animosity toward you, just a desire to spread knowledge.
